UC BERKELEY EXTENSION Paralegal Studies PROGRAM
TEST DRIVE

On these pages we will present many examples of the tools used throughout the UC Berkeley Extension Paralegal Studies Program ParaStudent Web Site. By taking this Test Drive, you will be able to:

  1. Preview the instructional methods and teaching techniques presented in the program
  2. Determine how good you are at taking specific directions and instruction in an online format
  3. Determine whether your computer has the minimum requirements for utilizing the UC Berkeley Extension ParaStudent Web Site

The following pages are going to introduce you to the concept of legal authority. It will take between 30 and 45 minutes, if you choose to check out all the features. Less than that if you just want to browse.

After reviewing a few pages in a text book, reading a few lecture notes, trying an exercise, visiting an interactive law library demonstration, and downloading a template, you will take a quick mini-mock exam. If all the tools work for you during this Test Drive, it means that you, and your computer, are ready to sign-up for the program!

You will need a password for the Lecture Notes part of the Test Drive. The password is: authority (You will be reminded of the password within the dialogue box that pops up!)

So let's get started by clicking on the Text Books button on the left!
